추억

 

1988년 - 애플 2 복제품 

첫 컴퓨터는 소프트빌리지에서 판매한 CREST-800 입니다.

- 한글 내장 

- 램 64 KB

- 디스크 드라이브 

 

애플 2 플러스 호환 기종입니다.

 

 

 

가격은 아직 기억합니다. 정가 56 만원이었는데, 44만 8천원으로 판매할 때 샀습니다.

1988년은 한달 월급이 50만원 안되었을 겁니다.

넉넉하지 않은 형편에 아버지의 큰 결단이었죠.

하지만, 이후 MSX 기종을 알게되면서 IQ-2000 가진 친구가 참 부러웠습니다.

 

 

아버지께서 대학까지 사용할 수 있다는 말에 속아(?) 샀지만, 1년 후에 16비트 컴퓨터가 교육용 컴퓨터로 선정되었습니다.

 

2011년 - 맥북에어 2010년 형

맥의 존재는 당시 컴퓨터 잡지로 알고 있었습니다.

하지만, 1990년대 맥은 어마어마한 가격이었고, 저같은 일반인이 사용하기 어렵고 그래픽 작업이나 출판쪽 분야 사람들이 주로 사용했습니다.

 

한참 지난 2011년 맥북 에어가 유행(?)했고, 맥북 에어 2010년형이 저의 책 맥입니다.

15년이 지난 지금도 lubuntu를 설치해 사용 중입니다.

하지만, 듀얼코어에 2 GB 램으로는 유튜브 영상 보기에도 버겁습니다.

 

 

2014년 아이폰 6

첫 스마트폰이 아이폰 6입니다.

보안 때문에 아이폰을 선택했고, 지금까지 아이폰만 사용하고 있습니다.

 

아이폰 6를 5년 정도 사용하고 아이폰 10으로 교체했는데 요즘은 옛날 감성 때문에 구형 아이폰 찾는 수요가 있다고 하니 흥미롭습니다.

 

 

2020년 - 마지막 인텔 맥북에어 

 

2020년 연말

맥의 CPU가 ARM 계열로 바뀐다고해서 급하게(?) 마지막 인텔 맥북에어를 샀습니다.

 

내년이면 macOS의 인텔 맥 지원이 종료될텐데 그때 우분투를 설치해 사용할까 합니다.

 

2026년 - 새로운 애플사 제품 고민 

새로운 아이폰을 사고, 맥북 네오를 살까말까 고민 중입니다.
